Top Banana (formerly “The Greatest Tits”) got off to a great start
at its opening night on Monday March 5th 2007: a full venue was
treated to performances from Brighton & Hove’s finest up and coming
comedians. With everything from energetic Yoga slapstick to OAP
observational comedy, the night was varied, sometimes surreal, but
always entertaining. A friendly supportive audience was invited to
participate and show how funny it could be, and the only heckling
was a cry of “brilliant” from the highly intelligent and attractive
observers.

Top Banana aims to allow all comics to come and perform to an
up-for-anything audience, whether they are established and trying
out new material or have never performed before and just fancy
giving it a go. Slots can be booked in advance or performers can
sign up on the night. Those who have never performed before can
contact Top Banana for performance tips and advice and can come to
the venue early to have a dress rehearsal.
